Experience music-making with others passionate about exploring the world of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century chamber music.
Historical Instruments
CMC strives to share a vision of sociable, experimental, and intelligent musicianship. By performing 18th and 19th century repertoire on period instruments, participants’ experience this familiar repertoire through a new lens — with startling results.
Tuition Free
We are excited to announce that CMC 2026 is tuition-free! All accepted applicants will receive a full tuition scholarship that covers the cost of the program. Participants will also receive free lodging, breakfasts, and lunches.
Historical Improvisation and Alexander Technique
Workshops on historical improvisation will allow students to explore the nuts and bolts of historical improvisation and spark new musical relationships between players.
Alexander Technique workshops will help participants explore body mapping, refined co-ordination, and apply '‘big picture’ awareness to playing music.
